The Umang programme brought structured robotics and STEM learning to more than 40 government schools in Nagpur — the kind of multi-school rollout where teacher training and a shared curriculum matter most.
The real test of a CSR education model isn't one well-resourced showcase school — it's whether the same quality of learning can reach dozens of schools at the same time. The Umang programme set out to do exactly that across the government schools of Nagpur.
Umang was delivered in partnership with the Nagpur Municipal Corporation and a partner organisation. Within that programme, Grobots provided the equipment, curriculum and trainer support that made structured robotics and STEM learning possible across 40+ schools — working alongside the lead partner rather than in place of it.
For a programme spanning many government schools, the factors that decide success are the same ones Grobots is built around: teachers who can run the lab, a curriculum that gives every grade a plan, and multilingual video support so the programme works in the languages these classrooms actually use.
This programme was delivered as a partnership. Grobots' role was to provide the equipment, curriculum and trainer support that powered the robotics and STEM learning, alongside the lead partner and the Nagpur Municipal Corporation.
From a single sponsored school to a city-wide rollout, we'll scope a programme that fits your budget and the number of schools you want to reach.
